I have been married to my wife, best friend, and ministry partner since June 19, 1993. I love doing ministry with her, as she is also ordained, and amazing at all the things I’m not! That makes us a great pair, now that we’ve learned to appreciate that about each other. We have 2 daughters, both grown, one in MN and the other in PA, whom we love so much! We’re thankful for both of them.
I have been in ministry since 1994, and what drives me the most is what God did for me. When He grabbed my attention, it was August 3rd, 1989, in Englewood, Colorado. I was managing a bar by the name of Paddy Boots, and I felt the Holy Spirit speaking so clearly to me, “I still have a plan for you!” Over and over I heard this message. I knew that I had been “called” to be a Pastor, but I had drifted far from God. In an instant, He called me back, and delivered me from alcohol, and the horrible life I had been sucked into. I have been following Him ever since.
I have a great passion for God, and for the Bible (God’s Word), and for people. All people are welcome at our Church, because Jesus welcomed me back when I was at my worst. I believe in the life transforming power of God, through His Spirit and His Word…all because of what Jesus did for us when He died on the cross.
Personally, I grew up in Denver, Colorado. I lived for 1 month in Hermosa Beach, California. I went to school for one semester in Glendale, Arizona. And when I answered God’s call on my life, I left Denver to attend Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota! Ministry has taken me to Minnesota, Nebraska, back to North Dakota, to Pennsylvania, and now back to Minnesota.
I absolutely love to FISH, I’m learning to hunt, I also enjoy bowling and driving and seeing all of God’s beautiful creation: especially mountains, wildlife, waterfalls…and the ever changing sky scenery, with sunrise and sunsets being my favorite!
