Men’s Ministry

Men are important in our church as well as the families they lead. CHA is a place for men to have fun and be manly. It is important for men to feel welcome in our services and events. There are many stats about men’s ministry and how men are a part of a church body. When a mother comes to faith in Christ, the rest of the family follows 17 percent of the time. But when a father comes to faith in Christ, the rest of the family follows 93 percent of the time. A man’s Christian walk with the Lord is one of the most important steps in creating a healthy church that seeks Gods word.Risk. Adventure. Purpose. Challenge.Guys need to be shown these things and how their lives can impact others simply by understanding “who” they are and “whose” they are.Proverbs 27:17 says
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens the other.” How true is that? Men need to hang out with other men and discuss stuff that relates to guys. Working and talking with other men allow us to open up and be ourselves. Men tend to be competitive and that is a good thing and we need to exercise this need with each other. We need that as men and it makes up who we are. Hanging out with other men and socializing allows us to become a band of godly brothers on fire for God.
Men’s ministry at CHA does a lot of fun stuff as well as growing our spiritual lives. We volunteer at church and at other peoples home when there is a need like landscaping, building something, and anything else that needs doing. This builds camaraderie with each other that can never be broken. Lifelong friendships are made that will last forever. We also do men’s breakfasts where we meet for some cholesterol…I mean pancakes, bacon and eggs, good conversation, and a devotional geared towards men.
We do manly stuff like attend sporting events, shoot clay pigeons and guns, grill, …etc. There is so much more that can be done at CHA with our men’s ministry program. We would love for you to join us and give us your thoughts and ideas.
“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” Hebrews 10:24
