Family Picnic at the Beach!

Wednesday, August 18th

Take the family for a night out at Veteran’s Park. Bring your own picnic supper and your swimsuits for a great night of fellowship and fun!

We have reserved the shelter/kitchen area for our use from 5-10pm. Come when you can.

We will have a few organized games, but feel free to bring your own activities as well.

Ladies Fall Retreat

Attention Ladies! Fall Retreat at Lake Geneva Christian Center is Friday & Saturday, October 8 & 9.

This year’s conference is called “Look Up” — Ellie Lofaro and Kathy Troccoli are back!

Cost will be apporoximately $75, plus food.

You must sign up and pay $49 by Sunday, August 29th.

This will be a great weekend of learning, fellowship, and being refreshed in God’s presence.

Annual Kettle Cook-Out

Join us for the 50’s Plus Annual Kettle Cook-Out at Jonathan & Glenice Schaumann’s home on Monday, August 23rd at 6:00pm.

Please bring a salad or dessert to share.

Join us on select Thursday evenings at 7:00pm for a time of Worship and a Prayer Walk around the church and grounds.

This is a great opportunity to pray for specific ministries and needs!

WM’s Discovery Days – Bible Study

Discovery Day 5 – Saturday, July 31st at 1:00pm in the foyer.

When is the last time you made a personal discovery about yourself?  Come discover who you were created to be in Christ Jesus.  Discover the real you; the unique you created in the image of God; the authentic you (your temperment, your personality) your gifts, your talents and abilities.  Discover new communication with others and with God through the power of the Holy Spirit.  “And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness, secret riches, and you will know that I am doing this.  I the Lord, the God of Israel, the One who calls you by name.” Isaiah 45:3 (TLB)

Childcare will be provided.
