Celebrate the last weekend of summer with us! Everyone is invited to join us for our annual Labor Day Camping on the Hill!

Thursday September 2^nd - Monday September 6^th

Please sign up at the Welcome Desk on Sunday or email the church office.

Thursday: Set Up

Friday: EVERYONE WELCOME!

Evening Bonfire, Bring your favorite campfire snacks, chairs & roasting sticks.

3^rd ANNUAL SLIP AND SLIDE!

(bring your soap bottle for the slip and slide)

7PM Volleyball Tournament! Sign up.

4-Wheeler Wagon Rides with papa Jon! (Johnnie Olson)

Saturday: 9AM Campers Breakfast in A-frame, Coffee and Donuts.

3PM-5PM Parents Break/Kid’s Scavenger Hunt – $5 per Kid – Sign Up!

Sunday: Campers Supper – Stone Soup

Wednesday Evening Activities Fall Kick-Off

Join us as we “kick-off” our Wednesday Evening Activities on Wednesday, September 8th!

“Take a Night Off” Dinner will be served from 6-6:30pm. Let’s start it off right with a PIZZA PARTY!

Meal cost: Adult $2.50, Child $1.50, Family $6.50

At 7:00pm we have activities for all ages… Nursery for the babies, Girls Ministries, Royal Rangers, Youth, and Adult classes!

We have something for everyone.

Adults, you won’t want to miss this class: Marriage Built to Last by Chip Ingram.

Sunday School Fall Kick-Off and Potluck

Join us as we “kick-off” our fall Sunday School classes on Sunday, September 12th at 9:30am.

We have Sunday School Classes for ALL AGES! Bring your family to church and be blessed at Sunday School! Invite your friends, too.

Following the morning Worship Service on September 12th, we will be having a “Fall Kick-Off” Potluck. Everyone is invited! Please bring a dish to share.

8/22/10 – Dirty Feet

If we knew when our time was up, how would it change our actions? If we found out we only had 24 hours to live, what would we do in that short time? Jesus, knowing that in just a few hours He would be arrested, beaten and crucified, willingly chose to serve others with great humility – despite what He was facing, despite what He was going through. He wanted to demonstrate to His disciples how important it was to serve one another. He showed, thr0ugh His act of washing the disciples’ feet, that nothing demonstrates love more clearly than humble service to others.

Our offerings and that which is consecrated to God deserve our best. God’s love for you and I moved Him to sacrifice that which meant the most to Him – His only beloved Son! If we truly understand His love for us, our response and desire should be to give back to Him that which means most to us.

Kids’ trip to Splash Pad!

Hey all you Children’s Church Kids!

Grab your swimsuits, towels, and a sack lunch and come with us to the Splash Pad at River’s Edge Park in Waite Park this coming Monday, August 9th.

We’ll be leaving from the church at 11:00am and will return around 2:30pm.

You need to sign up – so Parents, you can email the church office or sign up on Sunday morning.

We also need 1-2 youth/adult chaperones.

Have you ever been in a setting where you have been in the midst of a large group of people such as the State Fair or at a ball game in a large stadium? Have you considered, in those moments, how it can possibly be that God knows each and every one of those present? It’s mind-boggling to think that there are billions of people in this world and yet according to God’s word, He knows everything there is to know about every one of us. God does not see us as just a number in a massive crowd. He sees and loves us as individuals; separate and precious to Him. May that truth cause us to place our hope and trust in Him, knowing that He careth for us in a greater way than we can ever imagine.

Many times it is the simplest acts of kindness that have the most lasting effects upon us and others. The simplest of our acts towards others can have impacts far beyond our wildest dreams or imaginations. These simple acts of kindness demonstrate to the world around us not who we are, but who Jesus is, through us. Kindness can change our world one person at a time, one act at a time. Just as our heavenly father first loved us and demonstrated kindness and compassion upon us, may we, too, show that love to others in simple and powerful acts of kindness.
