6/24/12 – The Miracles of Jesus series “Healing of the Blind Man”

I can’t imagine what it would be like to be completely blind. To not be able to see the face of my wife or kids, to not be able to read, to not be able to drive a car. I just can’t imagine living my life totally in the dark.

There’s something else out there much worse than physical blindness, and that is spiritual blindness. Not knowing where your life is going, not understanding or recognizing that you’re not right with God, not knowing if you’re going to heaven when you die. Spiritual blindness is much more tragic than even physical blindness. All of us were born into this world spiritually blind. We all need the power of God’s holy spirit to open our eyes to the truth and reality of Jesus Christ. The world may do its best to conflict and stop that, but may we boldly proclaim and live out the miraculous power of God through Jesus Christ in our lives. May our lives help others who are blind come to their sight.
