11/08/09 – Overcoming the Fear of Death

For many people the topic and discussion of death is very difficult for them. It is an unwelcomed subject. They think that if they avoid the subject, they may avoid the inevitable event.

Death does not need to be feared for the believer in Christ. It is simply the beginning of a new adventure in our existence! Our last moment on this earth does not have to be looked at as our worse but rather as an exciting start to eternity in a place prepared for us. May we not be overcome with fear, instead let us live in faith and hope and expectancy of what is to come!
