The death of Jesus appeared to be the end. Defeat filled the hearts and minds of his followers on that very sad day of his crucifixion. But 3 days later the fog lifted and the message was clear! Jesus was alive and had defeated death and sin once and for all!  He had arose from that tomb! Sorrow was turned into joy! That resurrection power is available yet today in each of our lives! Will we choose to believe in and follow this risen savior?

In the midst of great excitement and anticipation of the coming Messiah, the people shouted ‘Hosanna” Meaning , God saves! Sadly!  The crowds did not truly understand the mission and purpose of God that needed to take place upon that hill called “Golgotha” They wanted an earthly king,  but Jesus came to be their spiritual king. None of it made any sense to mans thinking but to God, it made perfect sense. Mankind needed a savior!

Daniel was offered every luxury and temptation king Nebuchadnezzar could give to him in an attempt to coerce him into giving up his faith in God. Daniel refused, He steadfastly committed himself to remain true to God, even if he were the only one to do so. It brought some frightening and dangerous situations into his life, but in the end God blessed him with a full, rich and blessed life.
